What Is A Regulated Mod? 

Regulated mods are controlled by the chipsets within them and come packed with a range of safety features to ensure that all vapers enjoy a smooth and safe vaping experience. General safety features include:

• Over Charge Protection
• Low Battery Protection
• Over Discharge Protection

Advanced regulated mods allow users to adjust a variety of settings, for example:

• Variable Power Output
• Temperature Control
• Ramp-Up Speed
• Output Modes

Users are free to adjust their settings to whatever is best for the atomiser being used with that mod. Some of the newer mods also come with an automatic coil detection system, where they can instantly detect when a coil has been changed and will attempt to adjust to the optimal settings for that coil.

Advanced regulated mod also provides users with a wealth of data, for example, puff monitor, voltage output, battery life and coil resistance.

The quality of a mod is usually determined by the chipset within them and this is the best way to distinguish between box mods. For example, better quality chipsets that ramp-up quicker will bring the flavour of your e-liquid out in a more intense way and prevent spit back.
